Step.- The FBI El Paso Field Office and the El Paso Police Department (EPPD) are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible for a bank robbery on Friday, September 2, 2022.
At approximately 11:15 am, an unknown male entered the GECU located at 10425 Vista Del Sol. The suspect fired multiple shots inside the bank from a handgun. No injuries reported. The robber obtained an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank in the direction of Yarbrough.
EPPD K-9 units fanned out to the surrounding neighborhood to locate the suspect.
The FBI El Paso Violent Crimes Task Force is working closely with EPPD’s Crimes Against Persons Unit.
The FBI El Paso Evidence Response Team and the EPPD Crime Scene Unit are actively processing the crime scene.
“We are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to identify this bank robbery suspect,” said FBI El Paso Special Agent in Charge Jeffery R. Bank robbery carries a possible prison sentence of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun or fake bomb device while committing a bank robbery is punishable by imprisonment for up to 25 years.

Clothing: Khaki pants, long-sleeved khaki shirt, light-colored sun hat, yellow safety vest, black boots, dark gloves, possibly khaki vest, and a dark face covering.
