MEXICO CITY (appro) .- A father from Nezahualcóyotl, in the State of Mexico, shared on social networks that he could not buy the prints of the Panini album of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, so he made copies so that his son could fill it out .
“My Timmy wanted his Panini album. I bought it for 59 pesos, I got sheets from the teams and I made color copies of them. He does not differ from the original and what his father gives him with great affection. Timmy is happy cutting out and pasting his stamps, I’m happy gang members, ”wrote the minor’s father on September 14.
The man’s post received multiple expressions of support, and there were even other social network users who asked him to share the templates to do the same.
Completing the album costs money. Each envelope with five stamps costs 18 pesos. The box with 104 envelopes is sold for more than 1,800 pesos. That is, 520 stamps are obtained when buying a box.
However, 670 stamps are needed to fill the album, which meant buying extra boxes, and it is common for repeated stamps to come out and some missing to complete the collection.
