The governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros held a meeting with her counterpart from the state of Puebla, Sergio Salomón Céspedes Peregrina, in which they agreed to work in a coordinated manner on a common agenda that benefits the inhabitants of both entities.

during the meeting held at Casa Aguayo, The Tlaxcalan president handed him a folder with the interstate proposal with the issues that both governments will have to deal with, among which are: security, tourism, environment, mobility, land use planning, health and migration.

“I am very flattered by this opportunity to talk with the president of Puebla, we agreed that our secretaries will work in teams, later we will follow up on those agreements and objectives that we will see together, they are common and very important issues that impact both entities and that it is undoubtedly for the good of the citizens of Tlaxcala and Puebla”, he stressed.

In his speech, Céspedes Peregrina coincided with Governor Cuéllar Cisneros in the importance of joining efforts to generate transversal actions and strategies.

In that sense, it promised to review the president’s proposal and, at the same time, he instructed his collaborators so that from this moment they generate the agenda to deal with the issues presented.

“It is an honor to have Governor Lorena, she is a great governor, one of the best in the country, without a doubt there is a lot to do together and this meeting will allow us to have a common agenda on issues with which we feel related, (… ) we are twinned and together we are going to make the Fourth Transformation, both in Tlaxcala and Puebla, a reality,” he said.

Present at this meeting were on behalf of the Tlaxcala administration, the Secretary of Government, Sergio González Hernández and the Planning and Investment coordinators, Gimena Lara Pérez; and Communication, Angélica Domínguez Hernández.

For the state of Puebla, the Secretary of the Interior, Julio Huerta Gómez; the Secretary of Planning and Finance, María Teresa Castro Corro; the head of the State Government Office, Javier Aquino Limón; and the general coordinator of Communication and Digital Agenda, Verónica Vélez Macuil.
