The president of Coparmex Coahuila Sureste, Roberto Cabello Elizondo, accompanied by Jorge Dávila, from Canaco; Raúl José Garza, from CAPI; Oscar Peart Mijangos, from Canacintra Coahuila Southeast; as well as universities, such as the rector of the Carolina University, Emanuel Garza Fishburn; and Octavio Pimentel Martínez, academic from the UAdeC; externalized the defense of democracy and the citizen INE.

“The reform is out of place and we call on all legislators from all political parties to guarantee the neutrality of the INE. We are not against the authorities, nor the political parties, we are against a regressive electoral reform that was not agreed upon with society and that does not represent the best interests of Mexico,” said Cabello.
