Chihuahua.- The Central District District Attorney’s Office obtained a 20-year prison sentence against two defendants for the homicide of a man that was committed on the afternoon of January 18 of this year on Avenida Teófilo Borunda at the height of the El Palomar Park in the city of Chihuahua.
In the document it was reported that the convicted are Efraín JM and Daniel OC, who in a Special Abbreviated Procedure, accepted their responsibility for the aforementioned crime.
“Through the ministerial inquiries in charge of the Crimes against Life Investigation Unit, it was shown that those now sentenced shot the victim with a .9 mm caliber firearm, depriving her of life in the aforementioned place” , was explained in the document.
“Facts for those who were arrested in flagrante delicto by members of the Municipal Police who frustrated their escape and intercepted them at the height of 10th street, when they were still carrying the firearm,” the statement added.
The sentence handed down by the judge established that in addition to the penalty, they will have to pay 874 thousand 772 pesos for damage repair.
