A private plane from Mexico bound for Aruba was shot down by the Bolivarian Armed Forces, as confirmed by a Venezuelan television station.

According to Venezolana de Televisión, the plane was shot down for violating the airspace of that nation, through social networks the remains of the aircraft whose license plate is XB-RXG are observed.

Through its Twitter account, the Capital Comprehensive Defense Strategic Region No. 4 explained that the reason for the downing was that the aircraft changed course and entered Venezuelan territory.
