Odin Frost He is a boy who has grown up with the group’s music thanks to his family, who are also long-time fans. So when they found out that the RHCP were going to play in Texas on September 18th as part of their recent tour, they didn’t hesitate for a second to buy tickets for the show.

However, things got a little tricky getting tickets for the wheelchair area at Arlington’s Globe Life Field… But soon, they got a great surprise.

Flea raffled off and invited Odin and his family

Through the Instagram account known as Frost Family (@allthingsfrost), Odin’s family said that they could not get seats in the wheelchair area due to the always beggars toutswho were already giving them much more expensive than they really were.

Well, although things got complicated, everything went well thanks to Flea. According to the family, the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist already knew Odin’s story because his parents often upload videos of the young man playing instruments to social networks. And when the musician found out they hadn’t got any tickets, it was he himself who invited them to the concert so that they could see the show above the stage from one of the access sides to the backstage.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Snow” Is Odin’s Favorite Song

Of course, the concert was very emotional for the Frost family, but one of the most emotional moments was when the Red Hot Chili Peppers played “Snow (Hey Oh)”, which is Odin’s favorite song. And it is that the boy has a very special story with that song.

As told in another social media post, Odin was only 5 years old when the RHCP released the album. Stadium Arcadium which includes that song. So, seeing that the boy liked the song a lot, his parents sang it to him and told him it was about him.

So, on the day of the concert and before playing that classic, Flea said: “This song is for my friend Odin who is sitting over there. He is a good young man and this topic is for him”. Odin took photos with the RHCP and even Julian Casablancas

The World Stadium Tour Red Hot Chilli Peppers featured several special guests on different dates. For this show in Arlington that we told you about, the band had The Strokes and Thundercat as opening acts.

Odin Frost received a diagnosis of autism at age three and he had complicated developmental problems from a very young age because, according to what his parents have told them, they were told that he would probably not be able to walk. For this reason, they have dedicated a large part of his efforts to being activists in defense of people with any type of disability.

Usually, as we said before, they upload videos of their daily lives with Odin and they have instilled in him their love for music, so much so that the boy has shown that he likes to play some instruments. And in fact, this coexistence with the Red Hot Chili Peppers It is not the first approach they have with a famous.

In 2021, Odin and his father contacted Tony Hawk and the latter recorded a video of himself skating to send it to him. The boy really liked the sound of the skateboard rolling on the ramp and with that audio, he and his father composed a song. Without a doubt, Odin is a raffle.
